A true sales executive with over 20 years in the Channel, Sheila combines management, sales, marketing and business development to help channel Vendors and Partners deliver substantial revenue growth in highly competitive markets. Widely recognized as a Channel Chief, Sheila specializes in: go to market strategy, Channel strategy and development, Channel marketing programs, Partner engagement, Channel sales, and account management process.
Jenn Reed, Vice President of Channel Consulting and Operations
Jenn’s IT and UC Channel experience runs the gamut. From sales to product to marketing to Channel marketing; for some of the largest communications manufacturers in the industry including Nortel, Panasonic and VTech. With nearly 20 years under her belt Jenn completely “gets” The Channel. With a no-nonsense approach (and a bit of a techno-geek), having worked in and across every functional area, Jenn’s gained the intuitive ability to roll-out successful marketing campaigns to drive sales while building long-term relationships with Partners and end users alike.
Carlos Blanco, Consultant, Channel Strategy
Carlos’ career includes working with Digital Communications Associates (DCA), Micro Tempus, a Canadian software company, Ingram Micro and Channel development, sales and marketing agency, Next Level. Initially focused on delivering services to IT manufacturers in Latin America, the company quickly expanded into the US, Canada, and Europe, and eventually employed over 150 associates with offices in Miami, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. Clients included, among others: Intel, APC, Seagate, Avaya, Cisco, HP, Motorola, Microsoft, SAP, IBM and Symantec.
Michelle Hodges, Consultant, Channel Strategy
For over 20 years, Michelle Hodges has been assisting leading vendors in designing, building and managing Channels & Alliances sales teams and programs around the world. Her background includes time with Microsoft in EMEA and India; leading market changing System Integration teams, with Business Objects and SAP; transforming the APJ partner eco-system as VP Channels & Alliances, with VMware as the developing & leading Worldwide Consulting & Integration route to market, and with Riverbed as VP Global Channel Strategy & Programs. Michelle compliments her professional passions with memberships in the Associated Strategic Alliances Professionals & Women in Channels organizations, among others. She enjoys public speaking about Channel Transitions & Women’s issues. Having spent most of her adult life abroad in France, the UK, India and Singapore, Michelle and her family now reside in Portland, OR, enjoying the surrounding beaches, mountains and wineries of the Northwest.
Stephen DiFranco, Consultant, Channel Strategy
Stephen most recently served as the SVP & GM of Broadcom’s IoT business GM before leading the sale of the group to Cypress Semiconductor. During his tenure he and his teams introduced a portfolio of wireless devices, IoT platforms and the WICED™ IoT developer ecosystem. Over 200 companies developed consumer, commercial and industrial IoT devices based Broadcom IoT technologies. DiFranco joined Broadcom from HP where he led HP’s WW Channel organization before become the SVP of the Americas PC Sales Group. Before leaving HP he was assigned to the America’s Enterprise Partner Organizations to focus on the SMB market. During this role he began to see an increase in device generated data being captured by cloud customers. This ignited his interest in IoT. In 2017 he launched IoT Advisory Group to help companies create IoT business models and solve business problems with IoT analytics. The IoT Advisory Group works with IT partners to build IoT practices. As an Executive in Residence at Plug & Play Stephen provides advisory services to start-up companies focused on IoT. He lives in San Mateo, California with his family.
